A tall, stemmy, deep-rooted legume. Good for use as a green manure crop under irrigation or dryland sites. Mix with grasses at 1/2 to 1 lb. per acre to help re=-vegatate road cuts, road sidings, and other highly disturbed sites. Palatable when young but palatability declines rapidly as it matures.
